Description

In its eighth year, Suppers features renowned chefs from the DC region, from across the country, and some from across the world, preparing extraordinary meals in homes throughout the city to help address hunger in our nation’s capital. Chefs, working together in pairs, donate their time and skills to participate in these incomparable evenings while hosts graciously provide their houses for the evening. And guests get to watch and chat with the chefs as they prepare the meal. The highlight of Suppers is great food and wine, and stimulating conversation for a great cause.

During the meal, dinner hosts and representatives from Martha’s Table and DC Central Kitchen lead discussions about how these organizations are helping the neediest in our commumity - and what guests can do to help. Almost all food and wine is donated. Wine is provided by some of the world’s leading vineyards and wineries. And volunteers graciously help serve the meal.

Suppers have proven to be a warm and hospitable evening filled with a loyal following. Each dinner is small with 16–24 seats available. Register early! In the past four years, all of the dinners have sold out.
